I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), which I proudly completed while working full-time gaining vital business experience. Currently, I am pursuing my passion for education as a Doctoral Researcher specialising in pain management. I have the honour of collaborating with the esteemed Centre for Pain Research at the University of Bath.
At just 22, I achieved my first senior management position, a milestone that set the stage for a diverse career in leadership, including several successful years as a business owner. Among my achievements, the one I cherish the most is the creation of the ‘Survive to Thrive’ program—a transformative initiative where I share strategies that have not only improved my own quality of life but also made a lasting difference in the lives of those who have completed it.
I have had the privilege of working with the NHS (ICB) on pivotal projects, such as redesigning Doncaster’s pain pathway, developing the pain portal, and improving the pathway for A&E users presenting with back pain. These collaborations are ongoing, and I continue to work on various impactful initiatives alongside the NHS. The program has earned recognition, with key organisations referring and recommending it to those who need it most.”
A recent testimonial from one of my patients sums up my mission:
‘Medical support helps me to survive but it is the psychological and social support from Sarah Beaumont Inspires biopsychosocial programmes that enables me to thrive.’
I am a psychology graduate with postgraduate specialisation in positive psychology and coaching, with extensive experience in coaching, education, advocacy. I have dedicated my career to empowerment, mindset development, and resilience building, helping individuals navigate adversity using evidence based psychological strategies. With a background in positive psychology practice and coaching, I have worked extensively with individuals facing challenges, helping them develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and cognitive reframing techniques to improve their well-being. My expertise lies in applying mindset tools, resilience strategies, and self empowerment techniques to support individuals in taking control of their personal and professional lives. I currently work as an independent advocate to help families understand their rights and access the appropriate support for their disabled children. This work has further reinforced my belief in self advocacy, psychological resilience, and the power of knowledge in overcoming challenges. As part of my role with Sarah Beaumont Inspires, I bring my expertise in mindset psychology, positive psychology tools, and personal resilience to help individuals living with chronic pain and adversity develop the psychological strategies they need to thrive. Drawing from both academic research and lived experience, I provide insights, guidance, and advisory support on how to cultivate mental strength, adaptability, and self compassion when managing long term challenges. My unique blend of psychological expertise, coaching experience, and personal insight into chronic pain management enables me to contribute meaningfully to Sarah Beaumont Inspires, ensuring individuals have access to the tools and knowledge needed to foster growth, empowerment, and a positive mindset in the face of adversity.
